Peak District

This Sunday, went off to the Peak district with my Explorer group, and climbed some amazing hills. The views were fantastic, and the weather was great! On the way round we found a stream, so typically of Explorers, we all whack off our shoes, and in we go! It was actually quite (immensely) cold, but all the same, it was great fun getting knee deep in freezing water, 600 feet above sea level on a lovely sunny day. We spent about 6 hours climbing with 5 minute breaks every half an hour or so; we climbed up to around 800 feet; the weather was great, and it was loads of fun!
